Memberships
Membership is how you become part of the Trellis community and access our shared resources. As an artist-led space, membership is at the heart of what we do. Trellis offers two membership options designed to be accessible and meet artists where they are.
Membership at Trellis

General membership is for artists who want access to a shared creative space and community. Work alongside other members during open hours, store supplies in your personal cubby (approx. 13” × 13” × 15”), and shape Trellis’s direction by joining a committee.
Members will also have opportunities to sell their art through Trellis’s mail club, shop, and gallery once these programs launch. Standard general membership dues are $50+/month, with a limited number of sliding scale spots ($10-$40) available.

Studio Membership includes all the benefits of general membership, plus a personal studio space in a communal area and 24/7 access to the space. Studios are approximately 9'×7' and rent for $225/month for a single occupant or $275/month for two occupants. A limited number of smaller studio spaces are available at lower rates. Trellis has 14 studios and will maintain a waitlist when all spots are filled.

Studio and general members are asked to volunteer at least four hours a month by joining a committee, contributing to space upkeep, and/or other volunteer opportunities as they arise. All members are also encouraged to engage with the community by attending open meetings, offering feedback, and helping shape the culture of the space.
